Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper based in the Philippines to manage invoicing, accounts receivable follow-ups, and general bookkeeping tasks using Xero accounting software. This role is remote and requires strong communication skills and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and send invoices to clients in a timely manner using Xero
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with clients on overdue payments
  • Record and reconcile transactions in Xero
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding billing and payment status
  • Assist with basic monthly reporting (profit & loss, outstanding invoices, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with internal bookkeeping processes and deadlines

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accounts assistant
  • Strong experience using Xero (mandatory)
  • Experience with invoicing and accounts receivable follow-ups
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Prior remote work experience preferred

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with international clients (AU)
  • Familiarity with other tools like Excel/Google Sheets, Dext, Hubdoc, etc.
  • Basic understanding of GST/VAT reporting (depending on client base)

Work Arrangement

  • Part-time (approx. 5 hours per week)
  • Fully remote
  • Flexible hours (must overlap at least partially with Australia timezone if needed
